Ms. Girlee's Restaurant 

Date night with hubby who is a business owner himself decided to put forth more effort in supporting our own and was pleasantly surprised at the outcome of our experience. From the time we arrived and was greeted with a smile from a obviously busy hostess and immediately seated within minutes our drink orders was taken by Danielle who was equally friendly and continuously checked on us as well as other passing staff. The buffet was truly southern from the catfish to potato salad coleslaw smothered pork chops and collards. Thanks so much Ms. Girlee's we will return!

I can't say enough about Ms. Girlee's Restaurant! I've already told all of my friends that they NEED to go experience the AMAZING food here! My son-in-law and daughter took us there for Mother's Day brunch today and the food was delicious, the service was spot on (there when we needed something but not hovering), and I cannot wait to check out the seafood buffet with my husband and my two boys that the waitress and hostess told us about! We will definitely be back!!! Located right on 5th Street downtown #RVA you can't miss it! If my daughter hadn't given me a "no cell phones" rule I would totally have snapped photos of the amazing food and the adorable desserts! Our hat's off to the dessert chef!!! They were absolutely delicious, eye-catching and we KNOW that they had to take time and love to make!

"When you walk in you are not sure what to expect. But a clean environment and attentive staff got me interested. As I walked up to the buffet line I was impressed with the selection, specifically from the lunch side. Breakfast was good - don't get me wrong, but the vegetables being sauteed in white wine, the collard greens with an amazingly delicious fresh taste, the glazed pork chops the macaroni and cheese the chicken wings... Delicious Southern fare, with a little bit of a high end touch. I was thoroughly impressed, not to mention a the crab cakes and plates of fried fish. The staff is always around including the Chef & the owner. I like that environment, and I'm going to be a regular."   Lee Jean-Pierre 

This was my first time visiting Ms. Girlee's and I must say I Enjoyed it very much. Myself and two other friends thought it would be nice place to enjoy after church. We were greeted by warm smiles and hellos as we were seated and our waitress didn't seem to mind us asking questions. Nice Buffet set up..definitely something for everyone, from classic soul dishes, to delicious crab cakes and refreshing drinks which are included with your meal. While we enjoyed our meal we were entertained by Gospel Group R. Timothy Haughton and ReNewed..their sound is Contemporary Gospel/Jazz Fusion...We Loved It.

Ms. Helen (owner) walked around and made sure you were enjoying yourself...We had a memorable experience and Ms. Girlee's will definitely see this GIRL Again
